The last Castle was in Heidelberg. It looked just like I always imagined a Castle should: built and rebuilt and then left in ruins. Saved by a Frenchman, most of the Palace was used as the foundation for buildings inside the city of Heidelberg. The town was saved from the bombing in WW2 by the Allies because the musical The Student Prince of Heidelberg, the musical was so popular with
the Allieds that the public would be against them
