Flam is a tiny village along the Flam River. It may be small, but it can hold up to three cruise ships a day. A town of a few hundred people swells with 5000 tourists. It was recommended that we take the Flam railroad up into the mountain. The weather wasn't too bad, with light rain and drizzle, so I had to use my rain jacket and water repellent shoes. There were 11 of us from the group who signed up. There was fog, but not very thick. It only added to the beauty of the train ride.
