London , 3 days before the trip

We arrived from Detroit to London at 8 AM London time. We had purchased an early arrival reservation at the Leicester Square Radisson Blu. At this point, I had been awake since 7 AM Eastern US time. I cannot sleep on a plane. The hotel is in an excellent location. But the West End and Piccadilly Circle is an intricate design, and the Uber was unable to park the car near the hotel, so we had to roll our large suitcases up the street. That being said, I loved the location; it was bustling with excitement, after crashing in bed for a few hours. We make our way to the Royal Drury Lane theater for the Musical, Hercules.  We walked to the Theater. Google Maps GPS was very difficult, often changing directions.  The theater was beautiful, featuring a dome. The row ahead was filled with gay couples. The show was fun and entertaining. The muses stole the show, with their musical numbers increased and multiple costume changes creating a feeling more reminiscent of the Weather Girls on Fire Island than a traditional musical. The audience went wild when they were on stage.

. Most of the audience swoons over Hercules or Zeus, but I am all about Hades - Woof.  I believe he was Hades, much more fun than the audience. And that's the gospel truth.

On the way back, we try Google Maps again, this time typing in Radisson Blu. We walked miles before we realized that we were going to the  Wrong Radisson Blu. It was then that we decided to use Uber.
